Cindy Daase
Cindy Daase, M.A., is currently working with the research project “Standards of Public International Law for Governance in Weak and Failing States” at the DFG Collaborate Research Centre “Governance in Areas with Limited Statehood”. After her graduation in East European Studies, International Law, and Journalism at the FU Berlin, Cindy Daase established a co-operation between the Lectureship Program funded by the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Chair for European and International Law at the Yerevan State University, Armenia during the academic year 2007/2008. Cindy Daase's research interests include intra- and inter-state conflicts, non-state actors, peace-keeping, peace-building and conflict management both from an international law and international relations perspective. The German National Academic Foundation supports her doctoral thesis with the title “Peace agreements between state and non-state parties”. From April till September 2009, Cindy Daase was a visiting fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, University of Cambridge / UK and at the University of Alberta, Edmonton / Canada.
