Anja Hoffmann ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im Forschungsprojekt „Herausforderung lokaler Governance-Institutionen? Dezentralisierung in Marokko und Jordanien“ am DFG-Sonderforschungsbereich 700.
Sie studierte Politikwissenschaften an der Freien Universität Berlin, Internationale Beziehungen und Diplomatie an der Al Akhawayn Universität in Marokko und Internationale Angelegenheiten am Genfer Graduierteninstitut für Internationale Studien und Entwicklung (HEID). Nach ihrem Studium arbeitete sie für das GTZ-Projekt „Appui à la Gestion Intégrée des Ressources en Eau“ in Marokko. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Politik in Nordafrika (insb. Marokko), Verwaltung von Wasserressourcen und Internationale Entwicklungspolitikpolitik.
