Brief description
The research project Emerging Modes of Governance and Climate Protection focuses on the emerging carbon market and the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol in Newly Industrializing Countries. Until recently research has mainly focused on actors such as governments, NGOs and international organisations in the negotiations of the climate change regime. Furthermore, discussions about climate change have taken place mostly within the developed world. >>more
