Željko Branović is a Research Associate at the Collaborative Research Center. His research topics comprise Public Administration, International Relations, Security Studies, Governance in a Globalized World and Methods in Social Science. Ongoing research is focused on the topics Privatization and Commercialization of Security, Longitudinal Analysis of Military Security Markets and New Patterns of Security Governance. Within the Project he is working on Logics of Delegation of Security Consumer and Market Dynamics of the Military Security Market.
His PHD thesis deals with the macro-conditions of military outsourcing by the United States of America (USA). The thesis is based on an economic approach to outsourcing in foreign policies and applies procurement data in the empirical analysis.
