The SOAS Centre for the International Politics of Conflict, Rights and Justice (CCRJ) and its co-director, Dr. Leslie Vinjamuri, organized the event. During the talk, Thomas Risse first gave an overview of the Collaborative Research Center (SFB) 700 and elaborated on the SFB’s central concepts and research questions. Tanja Börzel then presented her current research on external actors in areas of limited statehood. In the discussion following their lecture, the two experts answered questions from the audience.
