Looking back on the DVPW convention
With a panel discussion on the topic “The Promise of the State: Capacities and Limits of Public Institutions in Areas of Consolidated and Limited Statehood.” the SFB 700 "Governance in Areas of Limited Statehood" together with the Bremen-based SFB 597 "Statehood in Transition" presented itself at the convention of the German Association for Political Science (DVPW).

Discussant Michael Zürn (WZB) discussed the topic with scholars of both Collaborative Research Centers at the panel. Afterwards, the well-attended reception provided the opportunity to engage in further discussion of the topic. In keeping with the motto "last but not least", the SFB 700 provided a prominent ending to a successful convention.
